Spring 2021, Georgian Bay, Ontario
 
Spring arrives on the eastern shore of Georgian Bay and the wind changes direction raising and lowering water levels cracking the thinning ice apart. It breaks into an incredible array of different shapes like a gigantic jigsaw puzzle with pieces of all different sizes. I've been staring at this photograph for two years and still find the patterns fascinating but at the same time I want to put the pieces back together again.
